Do these really help you lose weight?

Here’s a recent critique of the following weight-loss supplements: Hoodia, caffeine, Glucomannan, green tea extract, exotic fruit, and in a category called “not yet ready for prime time,” Chromium picolinate and Conjugated linoleic acid, a.k.a. CLA — and guess what?  They’re by-and-large ineffective or yet to be proven effective. Read more below:

  1. Those who obtain other advantages are still
    poor, and training, health care and environmental applications in low-revenue communities do not feed
    kids or seniors, though they’re clearly necessary investments.
